Sites, Organizations, and Groups Overview
In On-prem mode, you can create sites, organizations, and groups to organize your Zyxel Devices in Circle.
*In On-cloud mode, you must use Nebula to create sites, organizations, and groups.
*In On-cloud mode, sites, organizations, and groups are synchronized with Nebula.
*To learn how to add groups, organizations, sites and Zyxel Devices using Nebula, log into Nebula at https://nebula.zyxel.com with your Zyxel Account / password, go to Help > Online documents, and see the NCC (Nebula Control Center) User’s Guide in PDF or HTML format.
Sites, Organizations, and Groups Example
*Sites, organizations, and groups are known as organizational units.
*All Circles contain a default site which cannot be deleted. If you have a low number of Zyxel Devices, you can store them in the default site without creating additional organization units.

*In On-prem mode, on the My Devices screen, you can move Zyxel Devices, sites, and organizations between organizational units by clicking and then dragging them.
Creating a Site (On-prem)
Follow these steps to create a new site.
1 In On-prem mode, go to My Devices, and then click Create Site.

2 Enter a site name, and then click Save.
The name must be 1 – 20 characters, and may consist of letters, numbers, and any special character except forward slash (/). Multiple sites cannot have the same name.
The new site is added to the My Devices screen.
Creating an Organization (On-prem)
Follow these steps to create an organization:
1 Go to My Devices. While holding the Ctrl key, select one or more sites. Right-click, and then select Create Organization Select one of the following options:
Under Existing Group: Create a new organization inside the selected group.
New Organization: Create a new organization that is not in a group.
The Create Organization window opens.
2 Enter an organization name, and then click Save.
The name must be 1 – 20 characters, and may consist of letters, numbers, and any special character except forward slash (/). Two organizations cannot have the same name.
The new organization is added to the My Devices screen. The sites you selected are added to the new organization.
Creating a Group (On-prem)
Follow these steps to create a group.
1 Go to My Devices. While holding the Ctrl key, select one or more organizations. Right-click, and then select Create Group.

2 Enter a group name, and then click Save.
The name must be 1 – 20 characters, and may consist of letters, numbers, and any special character except forward slash (/).
Group names must be unique – two or more groups cannot have the same name.
The new group is added to the My Devices screen. The organizations you selected are added to the new group.
Deleting a Site, Organization, or Group (On-prem)
Follow these steps to delete an organizational unit (site, organization, or group).
*Circle automatically deletes groups without any organizations, and organizations without any sites. If an organization contains a site without any Zyxel Devices, Circle will not delete the organization.
1 Go to My Devices. Select an organizational unit, and then ensure that the organizational unit does not contain any Zyxel Devices. For example, you could move Zyxel Devices by dragging them into other organizational units.
2 Right-click, and then select Delete.
